Acupuncture
Acupuncture in small animals is useful for a variety of problems. A partial list would include: arthritis, slipped discs, hot spots, asthma, diarrhea, kidney failure, peripheral nerve injury and surgical pain management.
It can also be a key element in overall wellness, as a quarterly acupuncture helps to keep the internal organs working together harmoniously. This is accomplished through the use of needles, injections of vitamin B12, or with the use of electrical stimulation.
