Your Pet's Surgery
We provide a high quality surgical environment for all your pet's needs. A physical exam is done on every patient prior to anesthesia. Age-appropriate bloodwork helps us detect problems not obvious on the physical. All patients are placed on a circulating warm water blanket during anesthesia and blood pressure, respiratory rate, heart (ECG), oxygen in the blood and temperature are monitored at all times. Patients also receive IV fluids to support circulation and pain management issues are addressed. After anesthesia, patients are kept warm in heated cages and monitored closely until they are ready to go home. Post surgical instructions are discussed with you in detail and follow-up is scheduled with either a phone call or appointment.
